Following the success of our direct-fit oil cooler kits for the Ford RS, Toyota GR, and Honda Type R, we knew we had to bring the Corolla GR into the workshop for development. Our goal was simple; to design and manufacture \u003cb\u003euser-friendly\u003c\/b\u003e, easy-to-install kits that require either \u003cb\u003eno\u003c\/b\u003e, or \u003cb\u003every little\u003c\/b\u003e modifications.\n\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n   To ensure \u003cb\u003eperfect fitment\u003c\/b\u003e, we \u003cb\u003e3D laser scanned\u003c\/b\u003e the engine bay, engine, and its ancillaries. After determining the peak oil cooler position, a custom mounting bracket was designed using the threaded ports on the factory bumper support. We 3D-printed a prototype for fitment testing before manufacturing the final aluminum version. All HEL direct-fitting oil cooler brackets are laser cut, precision-folded, and powder-coated in black, resulting in a \u003cb\u003estealthy\u003c\/b\u003e finish. Positioned directly behind the top grill, the \u003cb\u003eSetrab\u003c\/b\u003e oil cooler benefits from direct airflow, delivering optimal cooling efficiency.\n\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n   Every HEL oil cooler kit features a high-quality, \u003cb\u003ereliable\u003c\/b\u003e 25 row oil cooler manufactured by \u003cb\u003eSetrab\u003c\/b\u003e in Sweden. We have been using Setrab coolers for 10+ years, and have never had any issues with the performance or quality. Having an oil cooler fail or even burst is not something you want to experience, especially in demanding conditions and that is something we have \u003cb\u003enever\u003c\/b\u003e seen with Setrab's build quality. In the past, we've even had reports of front-end collisions and the Setrab oil cooler was the only component that still worked!\n\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n   Delivered with \u003cb\u003epre-assembled\u003c\/b\u003e braided hoses and aluminium fittings, our comprehensive kit has everything required for a \u003cb\u003estraightforward installation\u003c\/b\u003e. Using AN10 high-flow performance hose to deliver and return oil from the external oil cooler, this kit also includes one of HEL's popular oil filter sandwich plates, equipped with a \u003cb\u003ebuilt-in thermostat\u003c\/b\u003e. The thermostat ensures that your engine oil flows to the external oil cooler \u003cb\u003eonly\u003c\/b\u003e when the oil reaches the desired temperature (\u003cb\u003e92°C\u003c\/b\u003e \/ 198°F).\n\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n   Around 10% of the engine oil circulates through the oil cooler at any given time, this ensures a continuous flow that \u003cb\u003eprevents\u003c\/b\u003e air pockets and safeguards against thermal shock to the system. The surplus oil is then channelled back to the engine through the internal bypass system, promoting \u003cb\u003efaster warm-up\u003c\/b\u003e, providing added \u003cb\u003esafeguarding\u003c\/b\u003e in cold weather conditions, and \u003cb\u003eeliminates\u003c\/b\u003e the risk of overcooling.\n\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\n   Included with every kit is an easy-to-read installation manual.
